The Taunton boys showed character and guts to compete gamely for much of the match against physically superior opposition who ran away with things in the final quarter. The first half in particular, however, offered plenty of grounds for optimism with only two tries conceded. James Collins, Harry Way and Monty Wells all showed up well and there is enough talent in the squad to enjoy a decent season if we can improve in terms of overall cohesion and cut our errors in decision making and execution.
